In 2005, at the ruins of Masada in Israel, archeologists discovered an ancient ceramic jar containing seeds that belonged to an extinct biblical Judean Date Palm tree from 2000 years ago.  These seedlings were then planted, nurtured and miraculously began to grow once again after so many years.

Like the story of this Judean Date Palm tree, today there are young Jewish “spiritual entrepreneurs” who are nurturing the “seedlings of Jewish life” to again blossom through the broken cracks of locations around the world that were once vibrant.  This generation of young spiritual entrepreneurs are connecting to Judaism in many new and innovative ways- by developing communities of young people with a common goal of discovering their Judaism through helping others.
